SCONETIME CREATES MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS!

Sunshine Coast Foodie, Martin Duncan first got the idea of Sconetime from a video that popped up on his Facebook feed on loneliness and disconnect with Georgina 96 years young regularly attending a morning tea.

Martin believes everyone has a connection to Scones, he has always used his scones to connect people, when he owned dessert cafes in Brisbane he would host monthly catch ups with Paddington & Rosalie traders to even now with Country Noosa meetings and Sconetime.

Sconetime was the first event in newly renovated Cooroy Memorial  hall back in 2018 because of Martin’s love of Cooroy , it’s people and our beautiful hall!

Traecy Hinner of Noosa Black Coffee & Sconetime Volunteers love connecting attendees and listening to the history and great stories of our old halls & treasures that attend

Look out for ABC reporter Jennifer Nichols & ABC Landline Sconetime segment on Sunday 9th May
